Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) is celebrating 80 years of Tweety: the beloved, optimistic yellow bird of the Looney Tunes franchise. The anniversary comes with new merch to celebrate all things Tweety!
First, the Tweety 80th Mural Collection features Tweety-inspired mural designs on a selection of apparel. WBCP collaborated with 16 artists to create 80 unique murals designs, inspired by each artist’s interpretation of the character. Some of these designs are available now on T-shirts in the Looney Tunes Shop for $25 each. The shop will continue to drop new products throughout the year with more designs.
Next, Loungefly is celebrating with two new, Tweety-inspired products. The Tweety 80th Anniversary Plush Backpack offers fans a chance to carry the yellow canary with them wherever they go. The backpack is designed with Tweety’s unmistakable face and shape, including a tuft of hair on the top, little feet on the bottom, and wings that move back and forth on the front compartment. The inside lining contains the anniversary motif of Tweety on a blue, spotted design. “I tawt I taw a puddy tat!” is stitched into the back to show off Tweety’s signature saying. This mini backpack is available on the Loungefly website for $80.
Sylvester is persistently chasing his rival on Loungefly’s Tweety and Sylvester 80th Anniversary Zip Around Wallet. This 8-inch wallet features a pattern made up of interactions between the “puddy tat” and the canary on a light blue background. The Zip Around Wallet is available on the Loungefly website for $40.
Finally, WBCP has teamed up with Ugly Dukling Beauty for a limited-edition collection. The collection contains four 3D magnetic eyelash sets inspired by Tweety. The styles include “Tweety Pie,” “Tweety Bird,” “Looney Luxury Lashes,” and “I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Kat!” These eyelashes contain seven magnets for glue-free application. The collection is available now on the Ugly Dukling Beauty website for $79.99.
