What’s the one thing missing from the latest version of Spider-Man’s suit? A cool pair of sneakers.
Unruly Industries is kicking things up with a new trio of collectibles that reimagine our favorite web-slinger as a punk-rock sneakerhead. Designed by pop culture artist Tracy Tubera, the collection draws inspiration from comic books, graffiti, and anime art.
The three new figures in this collection are Spider-Punk, Ghost Spider, and Scarlet Spider. Spider-Punk hails straight from the stage with an electric guitar in hand. Standing at 8.5 inches, this rockstar sports red-and-white high-tops complete with a graffiti-like signature of his name. A lady in white (and black, and red), the Ghost Spider statue is posed in a lunge, ready to shoot some webs. She stands 5.2 inches tall and wears white-and-blue running sneakers with ballerina laces tying up the calf. Scarlet Spider is an ode to the Big Apple, donning an all-red suit layered with a blue tank This S.H.S. (Super Hero in Sneakers) wears shiny red high tops and is 5.5 inches tall.
These new collectibles join a previously released Miles Morales statue from Tubera, including a limited-edition, matte-black variant. There are only 500 of these statues available for purchase and they are shipping now, so swing over to Sideshow to snag one before it’s too late.
