Scratch the living room television — you can watch the Super Bowl with other fans in a nearby football stadium!
With the Verizon Super Bowl FanFest, NFL fans can feel the energy of the big game on their home field, meet professional athletes, listen to exciting music, and eat food from local vendors.
Starting at 4 p.m. EST/1 p.m. PST on Feb. 9, you can enter MetLife, Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, Nissan Stadium, SoFi, and more for the ultimate NFL fandom event. Verizon is hosting this event for the first time in 30 different cities, and Verizon customers can attend for free!
Attendees can play tailgate games, explore the locker rooms, pose for special photo ops (like taking a selfie from the 50-yard line), and visit interactive activities around the stadiums. You can even spike a ball in the endzone!
Team cheerleaders, local artists, and live bands will be present to keep the energy high. Fans can jam with the Rams Mariachi Band, the Texans Gameday presentation team, and DJs such as DJ Infrared, DJ Split Second Sound, DJ Jay Ejercito, and others.
Playing football (or watching someone else play football) can work up an appetite. Each FanFest will feature tailgates and food from local chefs — including Chef Stacey Weber, who oversees the culinary operations for the Cardinals — and Chef Rocco Whalen, the cook and creative behind Cleveland’s Farenheit.
Verizon customers and their guests will also have the opportunity to meet NFL legends and players. The FanFest event in your city might feature Tiki Barber, Emmanuel Sanders, Patrick Willis, Jason Taylor, Jamaal Charles, Marshall Faulk, Jason Witten, Derrick Brooks, and more.
No event is complete without some gear, so fans in select cities can take home exclusive team memorabilia.
