Walmart Collector Con is coming back for a final time this year.
With New York Comic Con (NYCC) happening this week, Walmart is back for another round of Walmart Collector Con, its online event that offers exclusives from a variety of leading merch-makers. This time, however, Walmart is teaming up with the National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) to launch a new platform called AutoT during the last Walmart Collector Con of this year.
AutoT is a digital collectible platform that works like a mystery box. You purchase a code from walmart.com and unlock a collectible on AutoT. From there, you can store your digital collectible in the NECA vault for up to two years; buy, sell, or trade collectibles; or even exchange your digital collectible for a physical collectible that can be shipped to your house.
Starting on Oct. 6 online and Oct. 15 in stores, AutoT will feature new, limited-edition items from NECA, such as Bob Ross lithographs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, including Shredder, Renet, and other variants signed by co-creator Kevin Eastman. Fans can get more info about AutoT soon at autotvault.com.
Walmart’s Collector Con will also include more than 70 Walmart-exclusive products from brands and franchises like Funko, Hot Wheels, G.I. Joe, Nintendo, Barbie, WWE, Monster High, and more.
Go to Walmart’s collectibles page at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 6-7 to check out what collectibles the store has to offer this time!
