In case this wasn’t already on your spooky season radar, there’s a new Addams Family-inspired, live-action series heading to Netflix this fall. Helmed by Tim Burton, Wednesday will follow Wednesday Addams’ time as a student at Nevermore Academy.
The show is set to drop on Nov. 23, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) has planned a consumer products lineup that’s altogether ooky. Addams Family fans can expect new Wednesday merch across a variety of categories, including games, apparel, and collectibles.
Some of the specific partnerships on the way for Wednesday include a collection of T-shirts and dresses at Hot Topic, a selection of costumes from Rubies, and collectible figures from Funko. All of these releases will be heavily influenced by the visuals and style of the new show.
While Wednesday certainly carries a spooky vibe, MGM plans to make the show’s consumer products offerings into a year-round program. Fans should expect additional partnerships in the months to come, including accessories, gifts, and interactive games.
