Y’all still living in 2018, while this new Westworld app is living in 3018.
HBO is launching its first full-scale Alexa voice skill game with Westworld: The Maze. This free app, available only for Amazon Alexa-enabled devices, is an immersive voice experience that challenges fans to demonstrate their knowledge of the show through a choose-your-own-adventure game.
The goal of the game is to find the center of a metaphorical maze. Fans will play as a host who just woke up to the nature of Westworld’s true reality. To advance, players will have to answer other hosts’ questions about places, events, and people in the show.
With three levels, more than 60 storylines, and 400 unique game choices, each time playing will be unique. How well players knows their Westworld stuff determines if they make it the center of the maze.
As Westworld heavily features links between memory and identity, The Maze is positioned to explore this concept through quiz questions. The game features voice acting from Westworld’s Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Clementine (Angela Sarafyan).
