SDCC: Wizards of the Coast Swings into Action with Magic: The Gathering Spider-Man Activation

New Magic: The Gathering cards are just a swing, thwip, and whip away. Wizards of the Coast brings everyone’s favorite web-head to Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) with an action-packed con-exclusive activation. 

Set away from SDCC and embark on a new heroic mission at the Hard Rock Hotel to see a first look at the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man collection. Before it swings to stores on Sept. 26, SDCC attendees can see this all-new set and experience the web-slinger’s debut into the world of Magic: The Gathering. 

The Spider-Verse is officially invading your set of Magic cards. This set features fan-favorite vigilantes, like Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy, as well as iconic villains like Venom, Green Goblin, and Doctor Octopus. Between original card art and new gameplay mechanics, these cards add Marvel’s action-packed adventures to the game you love. 

When the collection makes its debut this fall, Magic fans can see the powers of the Spider-Verse across various boosters, collector boosters, bundles, scene boxes, and welcome decks. The line will also feature cards ranging in rarity, including common, uncommon, rare, and mythic rare.
