Hasbro's first Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Toys

Get ready to drop a few more credits at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Following the big reveal on all the “artisan” toys, products, costumes, droids, and props that Star Wars fans will be able to purchase when the Disney Parks expansion opens later this year, Hasbro is officially in on the action. A Disney Parks-exclusive Star Wars The Black Series First Order set features 6-inch scale figures of Kylo Ren, a Mountain Trooper, Commander Pyre, and an MSE (aka “mouse”) Droid. The figure set was revealed this morning via Hasbro.com, though the product page has since vanished, much like Force projection Luke Skywalker at the end of The Last Jedi.

The set, said to be “inspired by Star Wars Entertainment” (encompassing lore beyond the films), marks the first time a character from Disney Channel’s Star Wars Resistance has been featured in The Black Series, with the golden-armored Commander Pyre. Both Pyre and the Mountain Trooper are Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge exclusive figures. The set comes packaged in a window box, perfect for those who choose to leave their toys permanently sealed in their plastic prisons (we’re not judging).

No word yet on pricing, but you can bet that this set will quickly become a hot commodity for collectors of Hasbro’s popular, and ever-expanding range of super-articulated Black Series action figures.
