Superman: Call to Action

You’ve probably seen the memes indicating that we’re currently living in the strange gray zone between Christmas and New Year’s — a sort of limbo where the norms of the year tend to go out the window. While many of our pop culture friends have gone dormant until January, Sideshow Collectibles is using the cusp of the new year to show how you can fuel your fandom in the year ahead.

The 12 Days of Sideshow promotion began on Christmas day with the reveal of a highly detailed Doctor Strange maquette. The massive statue features premium deco and a flowing, poseable cape that presents the Doctor in an action pose as if he’s just emerged from a magical portal.

Harley Quinn: Hell on Wheels

Other items revealed so far include the Superman: Call to Action premium format figure, the Predator Barbarian Mythos legendary scale bust, and the Harley Quinn: Hell on Wheels premium format figure.

While Sideshow’s premium action figures, statues, and other collectibles lean heavily on entertainment and pop culture licenses, the company has been placing increased focus on developing its own original intellectual property (IP). The latest reveal is an early tease of three new products touted as “the first pieces in a new line of statues from Sideshow Originals.” Check them out in the teaser video below!

Full details on Bounty Hunter: Galactic Gun for HireDark Sorceress: Guardian of the Void, and Dragon Slayer: Warrior Forged in Flame will be revealed in the months ahead.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Sideshow site for additional reveals.
