Wonder Woman is celebrating its 750th issue with eight different covers that will celebrate the decades that Princess Diana has been saving the world, according to DC Comics.
Talented artists have taken her iconic image and captured each decade since the comic was first released. The covers span from the 1940s when Wonder Woman was first published through today — when she is still fighting strong.
The Amazonian princess has been the ultimate good guy, even in an era when women were mostly just meant to stay at home. Wonder Woman has become a feminist icon, showing what women are capable of — one lasso of truth at a time. Despite this, however, only one of the cover designers is a woman: Jenny Frison.
The issue itself will be a 96-page, prestige-format, one-shot comic book. Available on Jan. 22, it will only cost $9.99 and is sure to become a collector’s item. DC urges comic-fans to check with their local retailers ahead of time to see which decade covers they will be carrying. Check them all out below.
