The month-long anime party is back to celebrate everything awesome about Japanese animation.
Hot Topic is teaming up with the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) for the fourth year in a row for the Ani-May Program.
Throughout this month, Hot Topic and SPJA will highlight fan-favorite titles, including One Punch Man and My Hero Academia, release new and exclusive anime merch, and host a weekly livestream YouTube roundtable.
Host Chris Villain will sit down with various special guests and anime experts at 3 p.m. PST (6 p.m. EST) every week for discussions, scheduling, upcoming appearances, and giveaways. Hot Topic kicked off the series on May 1 with SPJA spokesperson Meg Amo.
Fans also have the chance to win a free trip to Los Angeles to attend the SPJA’s Anime Expo from July 4 to 7 by signing up via Hot Topic’s website. The winners are chosen on June 1, so sign up ASAP.
For anything that’s $0 plus the best anime, count me in.
