Next year, the Master Chief will return for the next chapter in the Halo franchise: Halo Infinite.
Powered by the all-new Slipspace engine, 343 Industries is developing the game for the Xbox family of devices, Windows PCs, and the new Microsoft console, Project Scarlett. Beyond the game, Wicked Cool Toys is on board to create a full line of toys and collectibles based in the Halo world, all thanks to a newly inked deal with 343.
As the master global toy licensee for Halo Infinite, Wicked Cool Toys is working closely with the game development team to create authentic items across a wide range of categories, including action figures, vehicles, play sets, plush, and role-play items.
“Halo Infinite is not only one of the most hotly anticipated upcoming game launches, but also truly an innovation within the gaming space, making it an incredible property to build a line of collectibles, toys, and more around,” says Jeremy Padawer, co-president of Wicked Cool Toys. “The fandom around the Halo franchise is strongly engaged, dedicated, and excited, and the Wicked Cool Toys team is looking forward to creating a line that will enable them to enjoy the story of the game well beyond the screen,” says Co-President Michael Rinzler.
While there isn’t anything to see on the toy front just yet, it’s worth checking out the cinematic trailer for Halo Infinite that debuted at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last month.
