Star Trek: Picard hasn’t even premiered yet, and it’s already lined up for a second season, according to Variety.
In the series, Patrick Stewart comes back as Jean-Luc Picard — the character he made famous through seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. No word is out on what the second season will focus on, but a trailer debuted at New York Comic Con (NYCC). Watch below to see Picard struggle with a new generation and the call to adventure.
CBS’ new Star Trek Universe includes another show, titled Star Trek: Discovery, which has already had two seasons. Another series is in development for CBS All Access based on a character from the same series.
