20 years ago today, the first X-Men film hit theaters, kicking off a fresh decade for superhero dominance that had been missing since the Batman films of the mid-1990s. Even though the X-Men came courtesy of 20th Century Fox, the success of the franchise no doubt helped plant some seeds for the eventual growth of Marvel Studios.

Hasbro is celebrating the milestone anniversary of the X-Men films — several of which are now on Disney+ — with a new wave of Marvel Legends action figures that pay tribute to the series.

The Marvel Legends X-Men 20th Anniversary series includes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), and a two-pack featuring Magneto (Michael Fassbender/Sir Ian McKellen) and Professor X (James McAvoy/Patrick Stewart) — all presented with Hasbro’s Photo Real facial technology that captures the likeness of each respective actor.

The two-pack features both young and old likenesses and each figure includes a host of accessories in addition to premium deco and articulation.

This wave also starts a new upgrade in packaging for the Marvel Legends Series, which puts it on-par with the recent update to Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series and the recently released G.I. Joe: Classified Series.

All of these new figures are available for preorder via Hasbro Pulse and Entertainment Earth.
