September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and for the founder of apparel company Svaha, it’s a personal villain she’ll do whatever she can to defeat.

Three years ago, after her son was diagnosed with leukemia, Jaya Iyer started selling Be the Hero T-shirts, with 100% of the profits going toward childhood cancer research. Now everyone has the chance to become a hero themselves — and perhaps even save the world without wrecking New York City in the process.

Every September, Svaha releases a new design for the Be the Hero tee. This year, it’s a gray shirt with a golden hero on the front. The words “Be the Hero” are boldly written across it, with “Help fight childhood cancer” beneath. The T-shirt features a gold ribbon, a common symbol of childhood cancer.

Fans who are ready to fight can find the shirt in adult sizes for $19.99 here and kids sizes for $14.99 here. Not all heroes wear capes — some wear comfortable tees that make a difference.
