To quote Jerry Seinfeld himself… Why do I always have the feeling that everybody’s doing something better than me on Saturday afternoons?
Well, good news for Seinfeld and LEGO fans alike — you and I have new Saturday afternoon plans with the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld Set! This set features all the ‘90s sitcom goodness to celebrate the show’s 32nd anniversary. From a Festivus pole to a buildable stand-up stage, LEGO Ideas is really bringing “yada” some “yowza” with this comical set.
Created by LEGO fan Brent Waller, the set features a 1,326-piece, bricked-up rendition of Jerry’s apartment. It includes the kitchen, the living room with a sofa, an office, a buildable stand-up stage, a Festivus pole, cameras, and more. Five minifigures of the main cast and a fan-favorite postal worker are also included, all donning their iconic outfits: Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Cosmo Kramer, Elaine Benes, and Newman.

The 12-by-5 inch Seinfeld set captures the essence of the show’s 180 episodes in miniaturized detail. Fans will be able to reenact scenes about the story of Festivus, the notorious soup shop, outrageous dinner parties, and more with the LEGO-fied characters of the Seinfeld cast. Is this what “serenity now” looks like? It sure is the closest thing.
Can’t get enough sitcom action? LEGO has also previously released two Friends-inspired sets, one of the Central Perk location and the other of the crew’s apartments. Similar to the Seinfeld set, these collections feature tons of show-specific accessories (such as Phoebe’s dollhouse and *the* orange sofa) to help fans recreate their favorite scenes and episodes, LEGO style.
The LEGO Ideas Seinfeld Set is priced at $79.99, and will be available for LEGO VIP members starting on July 21. The set will be released publicly at LEGO Stores and on lego.com on Aug. 1.
