Gotta listen to ‘em all — all the songs on Pokémon 25, that is.
After the Pokémon Company International teased it earlier this year — and released two EPs! — Pokémon 25: The Album is finally out today, Oct. 15. The album is the culmination of the year-long P25 Music program, which asked musicians from around the world to create songs inspired by Pokémon in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary. Artists featured on the album include J Balvin, Katy Perry, Post Malone, and more. Trainers can listen to the album in digital or CD format.
In celebration of release day, J Balvin released a music video for his song on the album, “Ten Cuidado.” The music video features Balvin and a slew of iconic Pokémon in the streets of New York City.
Pokémon also launched a virtual, pop-up retail store today featuring collaborative P25 merchandise from Pokémon and Katy Perry, J Balvin, and ZHU. Additionally, a special colored vinyl edition of Pokémon 25: The Album will be released in February in celebration of Pokémon Day.
Fans can check out Pokémon 25: The Album here and are invited to join the Pokémon conversation online with @Pokemon and #Pokemon25. Happy listening!
