Gotta listen to ‘em all!
Pokémon’s epic 25th-anniversary celebration and its P25 Music collaboration continue with the release of two Pokémon 25 EPs. Featuring three new artists, — Vince Staples, Cyn, and ZHU — the EPs also include Mabel’s song “Take It Home,” which was released last month.
On the Pokémon Red EP, Vince Staples contributed his song “Got ‘Em,” while Cyn’s song is called “Wonderful.” For the Pokémon Blue EP, ZHU will provide remixes of the Pokémon Red songs. All of these tracks will also be featured on the upcoming Capitol Records Pokémon 25: The Album, which is part of a year-long campaign from the Pokémon Company International’s partnership with Universal Music Group. Staples, Cyn, and ZHU join fellow recording artists Katy Perry, Post Malone, J Balvin, and Mabel on the album.
These new EPs are designed to reflect Pokémon’s tradition of releasing dual video games and pay homage to the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games. The Pokémon Red EP is out now and the Pokémon Blue EP will be released later this month.
