Diamond Select Toys is shining a spotlight on two martial arts greats: Jean-Claude Van Damme and Brandon Lee.

The toys and collectibles company has been producing Bruce Lee items, including action figures and Green Hornet items, for a few years. But as martial arts has been experiencing a recent resurgence, collectibles companies are taking notice and Diamond Select has decided to put the arts back into martial.

On top of the Brandon Lee items that are already available for purchase, Diamond Select introduced two new mini busts at New York Comic Con (NYCC). The Eric Draven Mini Bust, open for preorders for $120, is the first resin mini-bust based on The Crow. Depicting Draven in a borrowed trench coat with the Crow on his shoulder, wings spread, this collectible measures approximately 6 inches tall at 1:6 scale. Out in November, this release is limited to 2,000 pieces, but if you miss out, you can snag one of the older designs to sate your cravings.

One new Crow offering that’s not even listed yet is a more dressed-down look, with Draven in a long-sleeve T-shirt and the Crow in a resting position. A mask lies at the base of the bust and candles — in different stages of burning down — by its side. This release is scheduled for next year.

Also on deck from Diamond Select is the Muscles from Brussels himself: Jean-Claude Van Damme. Zach Oat, marketing supervisor at Diamond Select Toys, says that after seeing the success of the company’s Bruce Lee offerings, Jean-Claude Van Damme was given a chance to step inside the proverbial ring. Made of PVC, the new Jean-Claude Van Damme gallery diorama (pictured, top) features one of Van Damme’s famous high kicks and stands approximately 10.5 inches tall. This is available for preorder at $49.99, so you won’t have to fight over him like Monica Geller and Rachel Green in “The One After the Superbowl” episode of Friends.

The second Van Damme figure is forthcoming, but as an action figure, it will offer 20 points of articulation. Re-create scenes from Blood Sport and Kickboxer or just hang out with him by your side. Be on the lookout for this next year.

Diamond Select Toys is showcasing these and other collectibles at NYCC booth No. 2945.
