The pop culture and video game collectibles brand announced a Vinyl Bonanza event — its biggest release of music ever — in preparation for Black Friday. The drop will include eight vinyl soundtracks, all inspired by the music from a variety of popular video games and shows. The release features tunes from games and franchises including Bugsnax, Archer, Minecraft Dungeons, and more!
Dive into the mysterious world of Sterling Archer and his spy crew with the Archer vinyl soundtrack ($32.99), featuring music from seasons 7-9 of the series and colorful, original imagery created by Kevin Wilson, an iam8bit collaborator. Teaming up with Annapurna Interactive, iam8bit is also releasing a physical edition ($29.99-34.99) and a vinyl soundtrack ($41.99) of Beethoven & Dinosaur’s The Artful Escape. The physical editions are compatible with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, and even come with a collectible guitar pick and a bonus cover sheet.
Joining the launch are vinyl soundtracks for Bugsnax ($41.99), Chicory Piano Collections ($31.99), Minecraft Dungeons ($100), and A Musical Story ($41.99). iam8bit is even releasing a vinyl album titled Joystick Jazz: The Blueshift Big Band Plays Iconic Video Game Hits ($31.99), which features loads of iconic video game music you’re sure to recognize. The album includes tunes from Sonic the Hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and more.
These albums will be available to preorder starting on Nov. 17 at iam8bit.com and orders are expected to ship next year. Beginning on Nov. 17, all orders totaling $50 or more will also come with a free iam8bit slipmat designed by Mark Borgions, while supplies last.
