Take yourself back to the good old days with new vinyl LP soundtracks for classic Konami NES games Bomberman and Contra

Konami is partnering with New York indie record label Ship to Shore PhonoCo. to release limited-edition vinyls featuring music from both long-lasting series.

The Bomberman and Bomberman II soundtracks were released on a combined album earlier this year, marking the first time the iconic game soundtrack has been pressed to vinyl. The limited-edition record features work from Japanese artist Maddie Copp on the cover and has an etching of the game’s sprites that appear to move when the record is playing. That album is available to purchase at the links below. Konami plans to release the Bomberman Hero soundtrack on vinyl next year, with additional Bomberman soundtracks to come.

The Konami x Ship to Shore partnership also includes vinyl soundtracks for Contra. Every fan of the Contra series, whether they played on an arcade machine or Contra micro player, will find a vinyl that reminds them of the action in their favorite game. Every era of the game will get its own vinyl soundtrack, starting next year for Contra’s 35th anniversary.

This collaboration expands Ship to Shore’s lineup of video game soundtrack offerings, which also includes Breath of Fire, Celeste, Temtem, and more.
