Some of us are just game night people. You know what we mean — People who would spend their ideal Friday night stockpiling ore and lumber in an attempt to best their friends in an epic round of Catan or pouring over a 20-page rulebook before diving into a new strategy game.
And, guess what, game night people? The latest partnership from merch maker Fanattik will be right up your tabletop-gaming alley. The gift and collectibles manufacturer has inked a three-year deal with Asmodee Entertainment.
Under this deal, Fanattik will create a variety of officially licensed products for many of Asmodee’s popular board game titles, including Legend of the Five Rings, Twilight Imperium, Arkham Horror, and Ticket to Ride. This means that game night people will be able to show off their favorite pastime in their accessories, decor, and/or collectibles shelves.
According to Asmodee Entertainment Licensing Manager Alexander Thieme, the two companies started talking last year and Fanattik appealed to the Asmodee team because, as Thieme says, “Fanattik’s products are both creative and of a high quality that comes at reasonable price points.”
These items will be available from a variety of pop culture retailers and from wearefanattik.com starting later this year.
