They got the free Neil Lane diamond after getting engaged last year on The Bachelorette (was that really only last year?!), and now Rachel Lindsay and not Peter Bryan Abasolo are waiting for ABC to throw them a wedding.

“I fell in love on TV, we met on TV, I feel like a lot of people are invested in our love story,” Lindsay says in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “They want to see it come full circle. So I’m all about a TV wedding.”

The former Bachelorette lead ideally wanted a winter wedding, but as time marches on with no set plans, it’s looking more like a spring 2019 wedding. Talks are underway with ABC for televised nuptials but a date has not yet been set in stone. “It’s not up to us if we get the green light to do it,” says Lindsay. “There’s a lot of moving parts.”

There have been a handful of televised Bachelor weddings in the past few years, including couples that met on the spin-off Bachelor in Paradise, Carly and Evan (still together), Jade and Tanner (still together), and Marcus and Lacy (broken up). But a Rachel and Bryan wedding would be an even bigger deal because the last televised wedding to come from the lead couple in the MAIN show rather than Paradise was Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici in 2014, which is rounding on five years ago.

Lindsay tells ET that as an “older” Bachelor couple, she’s ready to get the show on the road (Rachel is 33, Bryan is 38). “I want to have kids. I really want to start next year,” she says. “I want more stability. I want to create this family unit and a home for us.”
