This upcoming collection lets you be who you wanna be, Barbie girl. Fashion brand Edikted is launching a collection with Barbie herself as Creative Director, and it’s basically like going through her iconic closet.
The collection will launch on May 7 in the U.S. and the U.K., and feature 71 pieces, from coordinating sets and beaded tops to Barbie-inspired accessories, everyday staples, swimwear, and denim. Each piece is inspired by Barbie’s 2000s “Fashion Fever” era, combining boho elements, vacation vibes, and butterfly motifs. The full collection will initially launch on edikted.com before launching at retail locations the week after, with prices ranging from $7 to $78.
Alongside the collection’s launch, the brand will release a campaign video featuring Barbie in her creative studio, designing the pieces, and transitioning into a full fashion runway scene where she puts the finishing touches on the models. Fans in the Los Angeles area will also get to check out the full collection at a special pop-up event at The Grove from May 8-10, where its Edikted location will be covered in dreamy shades of pink.
