The Barbie Tribute Collection series launched last year with a doll paying homage to American actress and entertainment trailblazer Lucille Ball. Now, just in time for her 96th birthday and 70th year on the throne, the Queen is getting a tribute doll inspired by her traditional royal appearance.
The Queen Elizabeth II Barbie comes dressed in an elegant, ivory gown with a royal blue sash across her chest, proudly boasting three Royal Family Orders medallions. Every facet of the doll is designed with attention to detail, from the jeweled crown atop her head to her dangling diamond earrings. The doll comes packaged in a box inspired by Buckingham Palace that features a crest-shaped logo and a badge commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Queen’s rule.
