Manga is joining Beckett’s lineup of collectibles you can send in to be professionally graded alongside VHS, comics, tickets, and cards.

Beckett grades and authenticates manga by evaluating its current condition, taking into account fading, page creases, and other signs that the manga has been well-loved. Each manga gets assigned a grade from 1-10, with 10 being fresh-off-the-press perfect.

Once your manga is graded, Beckett puts it in a holder that protects it from damage and keeps it in the same condition in which you submitted it. The packaging features a label that features the name of the manga, when it was published, and other book details along with the grade. This label features one of six designs to choose from, including Speed Lines, Horror Spiral, Cherry Blossoms, Lily Pads, Red Bridge, and Wisteria.

Beckett’s manga grading costs $30 per book and takes 30 business days for you to get your manga back or $50 to get it back in 10 business days. Regardless of how quickly you want your manga back, the piece of mind afforded by knowing that your manga is protected and properly evaluated is priceless.
