To cap off more than 30 years of Blizzard Entertainment, the company has partnered with Upper Deck to bring video games into the world of trading cards.
The new Blizzard 30th Anniversary Trading Cards offer fans the chance to collect their favorite characters from various Blizzard games, including Overwatch, Diablo, World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Heroes of the Storm, and Hearthstone.
This new release in gaming-based collectibles will include a 21-card Base Set and will also feature a 50-card Blizzard Vault insert celebrating original concept art from Blizzard Entertainment games. The lineup includes both Base Set Variant Cards and Blizzard Vault cards, which feature original character concept art. Collectors are also given the chance to find rare inserts in their packs, including autographed classic logos numbered to 25.
Collectors can complete achievements on Upper Deck’s e-Pack site to redeem unique cards, too. By collecting three copies of a base set card, fans can trade them in for a Gold Parallel card. Or you can collect six copies of a Blizzard Vault card to combine them and create a Silver Parallel card. Collectors can even request for physical copies of Silver Parallel cards to be sent directly to them.
Finally, by completing a complete set of base card variants, fans can earn a Blizzard e-Pack Avatar. The first 100 collectors to complete the Gold Parallel set can redeem an exclusive Autograph Achievement card, which features Samwise Didier — a senior art director at Blizzard Entertainment — and the Lost Vikings from the 1993 video game.
The 24-card packs are available to purchase exclusively on the e-Pack website for $9.99 each.
