It’s hard to believe, but we’ve made it to the ninth and final week of Bring Home the Galaxy, a series of weekly merch reveals and highlights featuring all things Star Wars. For the final week of this virtual event, Disney Consumer Products shone the spotlight on a variety of new must-haves, including collectibles, accessories, and apparel.
To start, Hasbro has five new Star Wars figures that will drop for preorder today, Dec. 14. Two of these new collectibles are part of the Black Series: a Gamestop-exclusive figure of RC-1262 — aka Scorch — from the Star Wars: Republic Commando video game ($27.99) and a Target-exclusive figure of a Gamorrean Guard from Return of the Jedi ($33.99). The Gamorrean Gaurd figure joins the larger 40th-anniversary celebration for Return of the Jedi and comes in commemorative, retro packaging.
The remaining new figures from Hasbro for this week’s Bring Home the Galaxy all join The Vintage Collection. Fans can bring home 3.75-inch versions of ARC Commander Blitz ($16.99) from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and two comics-inspired versions of Boba Fett ($20.99 each). All three Vintage Collection figures will be available to preorder starting today, Dec. at 1 p.m. ET. ARC Commander Blitz is a Walmart exclusive, while the Boba Fett figures will be available at Target.
Sticking to the collectibles category, there is also a new ArtFX statue from Kotobukiya. The detailed, 1:7-scale collectible depicts The Ronin, as seen in the “The Duel” animated short from Star Wars: Visions. The Ronin is available to purchase now from Sideshow for $250.
The final collectibles reveal for the final week of Bring Home the Galaxy was a new set of Funko Pop! figures inspired by A New Hope. Fans can preorder these versions of Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and a Storm Trooper for $12.99 each.
The 40th-anniversary celebration of The Empire Strikes Back is getting into full swing, and Loungefly is commemorating the occasion with a new collection of accessories that are decorated with stills from the movie. The upcoming collection includes a crossbody bag, a mini backpack, and a zip-around wallet. There will also be a limited-edition Pop! pin to go with this collection. Finally, this week’s Bring Home the Galaxy highlights included two new apparel collections. The first is a Star Wars loungewear series from Smash + Tess. The range includes cardigans, sweatpants, and more, which all offer very subtle nods to the fandom. Last – but certainly not least — is a new collection of Star Wars apparel from Torrid, specifically inspired by The Mandalorian. From a Grogu cardigan to a Mando-inspired varsity jacket, this plus-sized apparel is cute and casual. This clothing is available to shop now at torrid.com in sizes up to 6X.
