It may only be April, but it’s already been a big year for tech accessories brand Casetify. The company has launched collections for Peanuts, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even Harry Potter. Now, Casetify is entering a whole new galaxy of fandom potential, partnering with Lucasfilm for a Star Wars collection.
Set to launch on May 4 — aka Star Wars Day — this collection leans into retro Star Wars imagery and the original trilogy.
To start, the collection will offer some of Casetify’s signature phone cases. There are two cases featuring the iconic Millenium Falcon — One is a standard case with the design in black-and-white, along with the classic, yellow Star Wars logo. The other is limited to only 1,000 pieces and features a laser-engraved image of the starship. Another case in the collection offers an image of the binary sunset on Tatooine. This style will be available exclusively on the CASETiFY Co-Lab app for two weeks following the launch. The final three phone cases feature movie poster-inspired art from each title in the original Star Wars trilogy: Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
This same artwork will also be available on a trio of iPad cases and MagSafe battery pack cases. Other tech accessories in the collection include Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire phone straps, an AirPods case with the Star Wars logo, Apple Watch bands featuring the Star Wars logo and a combination of the trilogy art, a Star Wars logo MagSafe wallet, and wireless chargers featuring the Star Wars logo and the Death Star.
Although this collection won’t be available until May 4, fans can sign up for the waitlist here. The collection will be available to shop at casetify.com, on the Co-Lab app, and at Casetify Studio locations. The collection will also be at next month’s Star Wars Celebration fan event.
