French Canadian angel and superstar singer Céline Dion (and subsequently all of our emotions) showed up this morning in maybe the last place we’d expect: The Deadpool 2 soundtrack.

Known for power ballads, such as love song and karaoke go-to  “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic, Dion belts out Deadpool 2‘s “Ashes” in a breathtaking video fit for a diva, standing on an empty stage along with all of the powerful hand gestures and dramatically billowing fabrics that one needs to appropriately sing any Céline Dion song.

And if you’re all, “But, like, really?” Dion is like “You betcha!”

“In my career, I have been offered incredible songs and projects,” she wrote in a French-language tweet on Thursday morning. “Ashes is one of those songs, and Deadpool 2 is out of the ordinary! Prepare to live breathtaking moments with @deadpoolmovie indoors on May 18… You’ll die laughing!”

Here’s the thing: You know it’s for a superhero movie—specifically Deadpool, which is known for being a parody and never taking anything too seriously, especially itself—and yet, you still tear up a little bit, overcome with emotions, because GIRL DOES WORK.

Since this is a Deadpool-related situation, of course we are given the appropriate amount of sarcastic banter. After she slays this performance, with the help of a dancer killing it dressed in a full Deadpool get-up and heels, Dion receives feedback from Deadpool himself:

“That was the most beautiful performance I’ve ever seen in my life… we need to do it again. It’s too good,” 0ur hero demands. “This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic. You’re at like an 11. We need to get you down to a 5, 5 and a half tops. Just phone it in.”

Then our French Canadian QUEEN responds: “Listen, this thing only goes to 11, so beat it, Spider-Man,” and we are all alive.
