You’ve never played a game of Clue like this!

After releasing a reimagined version of the classic board game earlier this year, Hasbro is taking Clue into the digital age with a month-long event on Instagram. Users around the world will tap into their sleuthing skills to uncover Boddy Black’s murderer. Every day starting on March 2, would-be detectives can gather new clues and investigate the case on Clue’s Instagram account, @officialClue

The iconic characters from the game are reimagined in a whole new light as metahumans through Unreal Engine and motion capture technology. Clue is also bringing a ton of real-life brands to the experience by partnering with home security provider Ring, luxury car manufacturer McLaren, and fashion brand Halston.

Tonight, to celebrate the new mystery adventure, Clue hosted an immersive memorial experience in New York City for the fictional death of Boddy Black where content creators, podcasters, and press (including members of the Pop Insider team) worked their way around the murder scene. Ashley Flowers, the host of popular true crime podcast Crime Junkie, was a featured guest at the event. Flowers will continue to stay involved throughout the month-long mystery: You can catch her recaps of the case every week on Clue’s Instagram account.

Players can keep track of every development within the case, as Clue’s Instagram account will post suspect testimonies, witness statements, emerging evidence, and first-person accounts. By the end of March, detectives will have enough info to finally discover who killed Boddy Black, where they did it, and what weapon they used to commit the sinister deed. Check out the trailer below to get your first look at Clue’s immersive Instagram experience.

Last month, Hasbro released an updated version of the game with all-new character designs and a fresh, 20-by-20-inch game board. You can get your hands on the new version of Clue at most major retailers or at shop.hasbro.com

Stay tuned to Clue’s Instagram page @officialClue to help close the case.
