This year’s Designer Con kicks off next month, from Nov. 22-24 in Los Angeles. Kidrobot has four limited-edition art toy exclusives for the con, which the company revealed today. Dunny lovers, get ready!
The first figure is a La Flamme 8-Inch Dunny by Junko Mizuno (pictured above). This exclusive Ice Edition of Junko’s 2019 Dunny is limited to 250 pieces and costs $100.
The next Dunny is a Prosperity/Green Edition of the Santa Muerte 8-Inch Dunny by Stephanie Buscema. There are only 70 of this one, for $100 each.
There’s a 3-Inch Dunny in the mix, too, with the Spiritus Dea Bastet Dunny by Candie Bolton. Inspired by the Egyptian goddess, the figure has a catlike face and is limited to 200 pieces. She’s the least expensive figure in the lineup at $20.
Candie Bolton has another figure, too, which is the only non-Dunny DCON exclusive from KidRobot. It’s the Hello Kitty 9-Inch Art Figure in an exclusive Blush Edition. The figure is designed to capture the “angst of youth” and the transition into adulthood. The DCON variant is limited to 250, at $75 each.
Limited quantities of each figure will be available through a three-day presale. The sale starts tomorrow, Oct. 16, and runs through Oct. 18. Each day during the presale, a small number of figure will release on kidrobot.com at 10 a.m. MT (11 a.m. ET). The figures will also be available at KidRobot’s DCON booth (No. 2210).
