Forget a dirty 30, the Merc with a Mouth is having a nerdy 30!
To celebrate three decades of Deadpool, Marvel is planning a variety of content and commemorative merch, kicking off with a live, virtual event on Feb. 25.
At this event — which kicks off at 7 p.m. ET — fans can expect to hear from Deadpool creators, including Fabian Nicieza, Ed McGuinness, Joe Kelly, Gail Simone, Daniel Way, Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn, Mike Hawthorne, and Rob Liefeld. They will share behind-the-scenes stories, history, and some surprise reveals.
The event is free for anyone with a Marvel Unlimited Annual Plus subscription, which costs $99 and comes with a full year of events, discounts, a limited-edition membership kit, and access to more than 28,000 comics. However, if an annual subscription isn’t something you want, you can also purchase a $20 ticket directly for this event.
Throughout the year, fans can also expect new Deadpool anniversary merch. Funko revealed a collection of anniversary Pop! figures at its recent Funko Fair event, and there is also a new Cooking with Deadpool cookbook that debuted last week. Plus, Marvel says there is more merch on the way for prank season this April.
