This summer, fans will be drowning in Shark Week and a huge new collection of shark-themed merch! This year marks the 35th anniversary of the popular TV event, and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products is celebrating with a variety of new products and collections.
To start, fans can dress the part this Shark Week by sinking their *jaws* into some apparel, including Nautica’s new selection of rash guards, swim shorts, polos, and T-shirts. You can swim over to Nautica and Macy’s web pages to grab your gear or visit select stores. Crazy Shirts is selling tops featuring original Shark Week art on its website, while Rugged Shark brings water-friendly footwear in six shark-inspired styles to Walmart.
There’s more to explore in underwater fashion, including new styles from Pura Vida, an artisan jewelry brand. The latest collection offers more than 15 pieces of jewelry and apparel inspired by sharks and their undersea homes.
Freestyle is also making waves in the accessory lineup with limited edition watches and clip straps that are compatible with Apple Watches. You can also block out the summer sun with Knockaround Sunglasses’ shark-themed shades, which feature oceanic colors and a great white shark on each arm. These underwater treasures can be found on each brand’s website.
Throwing a Shark Week watch party? If so, head to Amazon to grab some new shark-themed activities. Monopoly: Predators of the Deep Edition brings nautical fun with Shark Week-themed pieces, cards, and properties. Shark Week ‘Shiver of Sharks’ is a 1,000-piece puzzle from USAopoly featuring your favorite underwater predator. Fans can really celebrate by diving deep into Oriental Trading’s official assortment of shark-themed party supplies.
Build-A-Bear is adding a new depth of fun with its Shark Week collection, which features two new friends — Great White Shark and Leopard Shark — and many ocean-themed accessories.
Other new Shark Week items include a hand-painted Great White Shark figurine from Enesco and a collection of Shark Week towels from Sand Cloud, which will launch on July 17.
