Disney Lorcana Gets an Upgrade with Iconic Pets

Disney has some of the most iconic pets as a part of its legendary lineup of characters. Now, these pets are joining Disney Lorcana in the new Archazia’s Island expansion from Ravensburger. 

The newest Disney brands joining Lorcana include The Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, and Bolt. In Archazia’s Island, Illumineers and glimmers land on a mysterious island as they search for a way to fix the Great Illuminary. They are greeted by Archazia, an Illumineer who shows them how to use dual inkcasting and test their skills on the island’s obstacles and training courses.

The Archazia’s Island expansion also introduces two new types of cards: Dual-ink Cards and Lore Cards. Dual-ink Cards feature two ink colors, have more powerful effects, and can only be used in decks with the matching two ink colors. Lore Cards feature story text on the reverse-side of puzzle cards. Each booster pack includes one of 20 Lore Cards. When players collect all 20 Lore Cards, they can read the whole store and piece together two pieces of art. 

Disney Lorcana: Archazia’s Island will be available on March 7 at local game stores and at the Disney parks before launching at mass retail on March 21. The expansion includes single-player decks, booster packs, the Illumineer’s Trove, a Lilo Gift Box featuring 250 cards and alternate artwork, playmats, deck boxes, and card sleeves.
