The superheroes were once reserved for Disney’s biggest competitor in the theme park arena at Universal Studios. But now, Disney is catching on and giving an update to their parks, including what its dubbed the “Avengers Initiative.”

Disney will add Avengers– and Marvel-themed rides, stage shows, characters, and merch to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World parks in the U.S., Paris, and Hong Kong. EPCOT in Walt Disney World is receiving a Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster; Disney California Adventure is creating Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT!, a Spider-Man attraction, a Doctor Strange stage show, and an Avengers attraction; Disneyland Paris is building Avengers, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange attractions; and Hong Kong Disneyland is receiving Ant-Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle!, Iron Man Experience, and an Avengers attraction.

The official Disney press release says guests will “be wowed as Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Captain America, and more leap into action on a moment’s notice.”
