After 20 years, the Tenth Doctor and Rose are heading to the silver screen for Doctor Who Day this year. BBC Studios, CinemaLive, and Fathom Entertainment are teaming up to launch Doctor Who: The Satan Pit Extended Cut in theaters Nov. 23.
This adventure features two of the most iconic episodes from series 2 of Doctor Who — The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit — featuring David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor and Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler landing on Sanctuary Base 6 on a planet orbiting a black hole and discovering the darkness that lurks beneath the surface.

The screening will feature a re-edited, movie-length cinematic cut of the two episodes featuring deleted scenes that were previously only available on DVD and have now been restored into the story along with never-before-seen extended footage. The screening will also have an exclusive interview with director and producer James Strong.
Screenings will take place in more than 1,000 theaters in the U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. local time. To find tickets in the U.S., visit fathomentertainment.com.
