The minds behind Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) In a Castle are rolling out a new seminar to help Dungeon Masters level up their game.
Hosted at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, Tabletop Vacation’s Dungeon Master University is a two-day intensive focused entirely on the art of Dungeon Mastering. Throughout the event, players will build their creativity and technique behind the screen under the tutelage of the industry’s most accomplished players. Whether you’re a first-time party planner or a longtime DM, these classes will help you sit at the head of the table with confidence.

The event hosts numerous open seminars, but attendees will hone their craft in one of four core curricula: Skill Building, Campaign Building, World Building, or Career Building. Each class will allow participants to gain hands-on experience in the role, from designing memorable adventures to sharpening improvisational instincts. Best of all, participants will receive game-changing advice from the seminars’ esteemed faculty of Dungeon Masters, industry professionals, and seasoned storytellers. You can even take the initiative and meet them for office hours!
The first Dungeon Master University session will take place Jan. 2-3, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Registration includes all meals throughout the retreat, one Primary Course, and unlimited seminar entry. To enroll, visit the event’s website.
