Experience Universal’s rollercoaster-like thrills with The Franklin Institute’s upcoming event. In partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal, the science museum will present Universal Theme Parks: The Exhibition.
Enter the heart of Philadelphia to visit the museum’s interactive exhibit inspired by Universal Destinations & Experiences’s creativity and storytelling. Within 18,000 square feet, explore the best of Universal entertainment across eight themed galleries and 25 interactive experiences.
You may be in one place, but at this exhibit, you can explore different lands and worlds from your favorite fandoms. As you travel the space, view more than 100 original artifacts from fan-favorite attractions inspired by Jurassic World, DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon, Universal Monsters, and more.
With this exhibition, there are so many ways to interact with your favorite attractions and characters. Unleash your creativity by building rides and designing monster masks, or take photos with costumes of familiar faces like Toothless, Po, Tigress, and Gingy.
Universal Theme Parks: The Exhibition, created in collaboration with design firm MDSX, will debut in the museum’s Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion and the Mandell Center.
Experience the wonders of Universal at The Franklin Institute from Feb. 14, 2026, through Sept. 7, 2026, with a presale waitlist now available at fi.edu/universalthemeparks.
