Wizards of the Coast is welcoming newbies to the Dungeons & Dragons fandom with a new starter kit.
The Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Kit is the latest introductory set for new players looking for a deep dive into the classic, fantasy, tabletop role-playing game.
The rulebook breaks down the strategy game and onboards players by teaching them how to create their own characters. Beginners can also test-run one-on-one gameplay with the premade Dragon of Icespire Peak. The box includes dice, maps, and cards to guide one Dungeon Master and one to five adventurers through their first stories.
The Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Kit is available now for $24.99 at major retailers, including Target, local game stores, book stores (including Barnes & Noble), and online retailers, including Amazon.
