Let the games begin: Registration is officially open for E3.
The ultimate video game conference will take place from June 9-11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Fans and industry pros can expect lots of video game-related announcements, trailers, product launches, and even some high-tech gaming gear.
Exhibitors will include Nintendo, Square Enix, Xbox, and WB Games, among a ton of others. These companies showcased new games last year — Xbox announced 60 games and an app — and offered a first look at anticipated games, including Final Fantasy VII Remake. It was also the first place where people got a look at Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077.
Initially reserved for press and pros only, E3 has opened its doors to fans over the last few years, letting everyone in on the fun. This year, the first day of the show will still be closed to general fans; however, for full access to the show floor — and all that video game-goodness that comes with it — fans can pick up a Gamer Badge on June 10 and 11 for $165. The passes are available in limited quantities, so grab them while you can!
Industry attendees, media, exhibitors, VIP buyers, and premium badge holders will have access to E3 on June 9 for an exclusive preview of new video games and accessories on the show floor. The premium badge will cost some coins at $995, but it includes a VIP lounge, breakfast and lunch each day, daily networking sessions, a VIP entrance, a dedicated service for hotels, discounts at the official E3 merch store, and access to LA Live activations. Industry professionals can receive complimentary tickets by submitting their credentials before April 23.
There will be no shortage of epic announcements and unveils to look forward to despite the fact that Sony will be skipping out on the event for the second year in a row. Specifically, Microsoft is planning to announce some major games, including potential reveals for Halo Infinite, according to GameSpot.
