Following last season’s epic, cliffhanger-ridden finale of Marvel’s Runaways, fans have been clamoring for any details about what could possibly happen next.

The show’s third season, currently in production, has added a brand-new villain — you know, in addition to the shape-shifting aliens trying to sacrifice human teens. Actress Elizabeth Hurley (The Royals) reunites with showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl) to portray the marvel-lous villain Morgan le Fay on the Marvel series, according to Variety.

Le Fay, as a student of Merlin, is considered to be the greatest sorceress of all time with her abilities to enchant objects and manipulate energy; it’s clear the Runaways are in for a wild ride. Up till now, the teens have mostly been on their own in the universe inside their California bubble. This casting news of a prominent Marvel Comics villain ties their world more closely to the rest of the Marvel Universe.

Elizabeth Hurley is joining the Marvel Universe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her portraying one of the most enchanting Marvel characters,” executive producer and head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb said in a statement.

Other than this mystical casting, we don’t know further details about the season or Hurley’s interactions with the teens, the now-defunct PRIDE, or the clearly no-good aliens. However, the second season finale of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger seemingly teases a crossover team-up may be on the horizon for the teens after Tandy and Ty left New Orleans for a new place they’ve never been before to investigate a bunch of girls’ bodies that were found washed up on a beach. (!!!) I don’t know about you, but my alarm bells are ringing because that sounds eerily similar to Runaways’ first-season storyline. I guess us fans will just have to patiently wait until the series drops on Hulu.
