There is some big news coming out of Eorzea.

During this weekend’s 14-hour Final Fantasy livestream event, Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festivals would be returning in person next year. Last year’s fan events happened virtually, but there will be three in-person festivals soon: one in Las Vegas, Nevada; one in London, England; and one in Japan.

The Las Vegas Fan Festival will take place from July 28-29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The London Fan Festival will be at The ExCel Centre from Oct. 21-22. There is no solid information on the Japan festival, but it will happen in early 2024.

During the livestream, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida also revealed that the MMORPG had topped 27 million registered players, a huge milestone for a game that is more than 10 years old. The livestream also offered details from the upcoming Patch 6.25, which has new quests, dungeons, battle content, and more!
