How many Funko Pop! vinyl figures do you have? There’s at least 20 staring at me in this office right now, and if you’re reading The Pop Insider, it’s safe to assume that you’re probably in a similar spot. As the collection grows, it can be hard to keep track of things — especially for those who chase variants and retailer exclusives. Today, Funko takes a step in helping us all keep track of our ever-expanding collections with the relaunch of its Funko mobile app for iOS and Android.
The app is an all-new experience that consolidates features from Stashpedia. It includes the largest, verified catalog of Funko products, and it can be easily searched by filtering by product brand, characteristic, exclusives, licenses, release year, and retailer. Fans can also scan barcodes to retrieve information or to quickly add a product to their collection.
Created based on customer feedback, Funko has also partnered with Pop Price Guide (PPG), a third-party hobbyDB brand, to display PPG’s trending product values. PPG valuations are based on current sales activity. The guide is to be used with the understanding that it is only meant to give current market status, not a guarantee of value and is not associated with Funko.
With the debut of the new app, the original Funko app, Stashpedia app, and stashpedia.com will all deactivate.
