Rumor has it that someone told Roadblock that he was getting an island vacation. What they neglected to tell him is that it was a deployment to Cobra Island. Sure, it’s exotic, and it is an island, but it’s probably not what he hand in mind.

Special Missions: Cobra Island is a new sub-line for Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified Series of 6-inch scale action figures. The surprise debut of the new collection via Target comes just a week after Walmart opened preorders for the first wave of the G.I. Joe Retro Series.

Individual figures include Cobra Island versions of Roadblock, a Cobra Trooper, and Wayne “Beach Head” Sneeden. Additionally, Baroness with Cobra C.O.I.L. marks the introduction of vehicles into the 6-inch scale G.I. Joe line.

Preorders for the Cobra Island collection quickly sold out upon launch this morning.

Additionally, Hasbro released 20 more classic episodes of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero on the company’s YouTube channel. The series, which inspired the recent brand relaunch, is also streaming live, 24-hours-a-day on the channel.
