Hey, Barbie: Get on your feet! Get up and make it happen!
Mattel is making a Gloria Estefan Barbie happen to celebrate the legendary singer’s 65th birthday and 1989 hit song, “Get on Your Feet,” ahead of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Gloria Estefan Barbie Doll features a black jacket with gold details, jeweled accents, and a dramatic lace sleeve; a leopard belt with a gold waist chain; leopard thigh-high boots; and gold accessories. Her look is inspired by the “Get on Your Feet” music video and Estefan’s Cuban heritage.

“I’m honored to be partnering with Barbie to create a doll in my likeness, especially as I ring in my 65th birthday and right ahead Hispanic Heritage Month. When designing my Barbie with the team, I wanted to ensure I was staying true to my multicultural roots — and I believe we did just that,” Estefan said in a press release.
The Barbie brand is also partnering with Esperanza on two arts programs, Artistas y Musicos Latino Americanos (AMLA) and the Esperanza Arts Center (EAC). For AMLA, the partnership is providing funding to help kids access private music lessons to play instruments, sing, and write songs. For EAC, Barbie is underwriting one of their event programs and bolstering their Mentor-Fellow programs, which trains kids for careers in arts production and administration.
The Gloria Estefan Barbie Doll will be available to purchase at Amazon, Target, Walmart, and mattelcreations.com. Preorder it now for $55.
