Gundam

The year is UC 0093. Amuro and Char, two skilled mobile suit pilots who fought together during the Zeon’s independence war, must face-off in a fateful duel. The Char-led Neo Zeon attempt to drop the asteroid Fifth Luna onto the Earth’s surface, and the Federations’ special task force must work together to prevent global destruction with nuclear weapons, giant mechs, and impeccable teamwork.

This is the action-packed 1988 animated film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, which is flying to the U.S.  this December for an exciting one-night theatrical event: “Gundam 40th Anniversary Celebration: Char’s Counterattack.”

After an evening of action and nostalgia, fans of the franchise who attend this screening will enjoy an exclusive interview with the creator of the Gundam franchise, Yoshiyuki Tomino, and newly featured content straight from Anime NYC 2019.

Moviegoers throughout the U.S. can attend this screening at more than 400 select movie theaters. A complete list of theater locations will be listed on the Fathom Events website.
