Fans of the hockey romance series Heated Rivalry finally have the chance to wear a piece of the show when preorders for Shane Hollander’s iconic jacket open next week. The cozy Team Canada fleece jacket seen in episode two is making its way to fans’ closets as fast as you can type and delete “We didn’t even kiss.”
Preorders open June 3 at 12 pm EST. The price and additional details will be revealed then. Shipping to the U.S. will cost American-based Loons an additional $25 CAD. (Fans in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan can also preorder the fleece; additional costs will be announced during the preorder.)
Orders will be shipped in batches Oct. 1-15; we’re hopeful our jackets arrive in time for this year’s New York Comic Con. All preorders are processed online and shipped to fans. Jackets are available in sizes XS-5XL and are limited to one per customer.
Following fervent demands, an appearance on Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the Prime Time red carpet, and a mention on Jeopardy!, the jacket is almost ready to keep fans warm during cool cabin nights. Preorders for the limited edition jacket begin June 3. Province of Canada, the manufacturer, is donating 10% of net profits to nonprofit You Can Play, which advances LGBTQ+ inclusion and belonging in sports.

The release also includes support from the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), which will each match contributions tied to jacket sales up to $25,000 CAD, for a combined total of $50,000 CAD.
Designed as a collectible piece in collaboration with costume designer Hanna Puley, the fleece draws inspiration from Shane Hollander’s Team Canada jacket, seen in “Olympians,” episode two of the series. (Canonically, Team USA wins Olympic gold. In real life, Canada won.) Fans went wild for the soft, cozy jacket, demanding the chance to buy one of their own.
Season two of Heated Rivalry is expected next spring, and Unrivaled, the final installment of Rachel Reid’s series, on which the show is based, follows in June 2027. Fans in the U.S. can reheat Heated Rivalry on HBO Max.
The fleece jacket preorder begins June 3 at 12 p.m. EST through Province of Canada.
