Iron Man vs. Captain America, Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin, Thor vs. Loki — These are some of the most iconic battles in the Marvel universe, and now fans can display them as detailed, dueling dioramas.
Today, Hero Collector (a division of Eaglemoss) revealed its Marvel VS Collection, which includes 1:16-scale statuettes of these popular comic-book characters posed for battle atop sculpted bases of battlefield scenery.
Each of the six designs in the line comes separately and stands about 6-8 inches tall. However, if fans buy both characters in a dueling duo, they can pair them for display. (Or, really any two characters in this collection — who says Thor can’t face Green Goblin?)
The Marvel VS figures cost $39.99 each and will be available in stores this September. This is also just the start for Marvel VS: fans can expect additional styles featuring other Marvel Comics characters, and even some designs inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This is the second Marvel collectibles line that Hero Collector has launched this year, following its Marvel Museum line of prop replicas, which are available to purchase now.
