Sure, tomorrow is Star Wars Day — but fans can also add a little more Star Trek into their lives.
On May 4, Hero Collector will release the fifth book in its Star Trek Shipyards series. The Borg and the Delta Quadrant: Akritirian to Krenim is also the first of two companion volumes that specifically feature the ships from Star Trek: Voyager. It dives deep into the fearsome ships operated by the biggest villains: the Borg. This includes the Borg Cube and Sphere, the Borg Queen’s ship, the Renegade Borg Vessel, and the Borg Tactical Cube.
This volume was written by veteran Star Trek authors Marcus Riley, Ian Chaddok, and Mark Wright. Beyond the Borg, the volume also features more than 35 ships operated by the various aliens folks that Captain Janeway and the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager encountered in the Delta Quadrant. It spans from A (the Akritirian patrol ship) to K (the Krenim warship).
The info for each ship is straight out of the archives — They are illustrated using the original CG models from the show. Fans who thought they knew the series can uncover some hidden gems and learn even more about it.
The second volume in this encyclopedia of Star Trek ships — The Delta Quadrant: Ledosian to Zahl — profiles more than 50 ships and will be available later this summer.
